General view of the digged zone today

This morning we  washing and storage pottery  due to weather conditions(snow last night) that made the site impractical.

In the afternoon we continued our investigation in the small ambient already investigated in the past days. We finished digging the layer of earth (US 23) and were brought to light all the walls that compose the room. These are mainly wall US 6, 9, 17, 18, 24 and 29. It is not clear yet whether this opening between the walls and 18 and 24 was original (maybe a door that opened into a passage along the north-west part of the town wall), or the result of deteriorating masonry.

But in the northeast part of the site seems to be altered with the presence of two structures: US 7, a layer of stones and pieces of brick, and the US 25 composed of small stones and fragments of bricks that seem to complete the missing piece of masonry walls between US 17 and 29.

Our investigation will continue tomorrow in this area.
