Reconstructive hypothesis of the defenses

Beside to the investigation on the site of Castiglioncello del Trinoro and keeping pace with the intepretations of the evidences enlighted we are working out on interpretative sketches of this evidences.

The reconstructive draws will be presented as simple interpretative drafts that, togheter with the tridimensional reconstructions,come alongside the traditional digging documentation, but that is tought for a larger public thanks to his characteristics of easy readability and immediacy for the not-specialists.

Inside the subsection "reconstructive draws" we'll add all the reconstructive sketches made. The unavoidable interpretative changes of portion often with dig in progress will be traceable looking at the draws added during the weeks and the digging campaigns.

This work want to be propaedeutic for the future valorization.

The riconstructions, maps and tridimensionals, are based on the dislocation of the ruins found on the site. The eleveted parts are hypothesis made starting from the archeological and iconographic datas of many contexts. Wooden bartizans and merlons have a large number of iconographic comparisons in mny preserved monuments.
